Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information ComputerDoIt collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written for UK and EU visitors and follows the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) and the EU GDPR.
Who we are
ComputerDoIt is a trading name of Taner Hassan, an independent consultant working as a sole trader in London, United Kingdom. Taner is the controller of the personal information described here, and handles privacy requests personally. Contact human@computerdoit.com about anything in this notice.
What we collect and why

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
If we contacted your business
We sometimes email businesses that look likely to benefit from our services. Before we do, we check on Companies House that the business is a limited company or LLP. The details come from your business website, Companies House and, occasionally, a public business profile such as LinkedIn. We send at most three emails unless you reply, and every one says how to opt out.
You can object at any time and we will stop straight away. Reply "no" to any of our emails or write to human@computerdoit.com. We share these details with no one. The emails pass through Google Workspace, which processes them on our behalf.
AI and automated processing
The demo agent is an AI. It says so from its first line. It runs on Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which does not use customer data to train its models. The demo does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the demo service.
- Microsoft (Azure OpenAI) processes demo text and voice to generate replies.
- Google hosts our email and booking calendar and serves the web fonts this site uses.
- Stripe handles payments.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy decision such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email human@computerdoit.com. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to us and then to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Client work
When we build systems for a firm, that firm is the controller of its clients' information and we act as its processor under a written data processing agreement. That work is covered by the agreement, not by this notice.

We will update this page when what we do changes, and change the date at the top.
